Overview

Background

Players assume the role of Evelyn, a first-time traveler tasked with preparing and managing a journey abroad alongside her travel companion, Lena. By simulating realistic travel experiences and critical decision points, the game enables players to practice and internalize essential skills required for effective and confident travel planning.

Search Engine: Seeka

Seeka is an in-game search engine that lets players look up key terms from dialogues to access informational cards, supporting decision-making and simulating real-world digital literacy.

Folder-style Card System

Folder-style Card System stores key info from dialogues and searches in organized, filterable cards—supporting retrieval, comparison, and real-life planning skills.

Reflection

Takeaways

This was my first time designing a game on my own, and building the interactive demo in Figma was both fun and eye-opening. Through this process, I discovered the unique charm of narrative games—how simple dialogue and decisions can create deep engagement and meaningful learning experiences.
